   Dr. Yoo has extensive range of both collaborative and methodological research experience in health science and medical research. His research is mainly focused on developing biostatistical tools and methodologies that utilize complex and large amount of data to predict the risk of complex human diseases such as Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes, and Mental disorders. Dr. Yoo is a noted scientist and scholar with many publications in epigenomics, clinical research in cardiovascular disease and cancer, statistical modeling on prediction and early detection, meta-analysis and prediction modeling using scoring system. His research interests include EpiGenomics approach to assess the effects of multiple polymorphisms, Nonparametric data-mining methods for detecting SNPs interactions, Statistical modeling for longitudinal biomarkers on early detection, Genetic risk scores based on patterns of polymorphisms and Meta-analysis.
